Gold Waterway & Lavenice

The Golden Waterway (Geumbit Suro) is an artificial canal that spans a total length of 2.68 km, passing through the Han River New City. It is composed of the Laveniče area, waterfront parks, and a river walk, creating a waterside space (including a small stream, totaling 11.7 km) where all citizens of Gimpo can visit, enjoy, and relax. The Laveniče area, connected to the waterway, is a representative tourist attraction of Gimpo. It blends modern-style commercial buildings with beautiful waterfront spaces, offering an exotic ambiance that visitors can experience. At the Golden Waterway, citizens can enjoy various cultural and recreational facilities such as water leisure facilities (Moon Boat), a musical fountain, picnic squares, shopping malls, and walking paths. The area also hosts a variety of events including street performances, exhibitions, flea markets, and other exciting activities.
